The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has allowed state employees to start work at 10:00 am on Friday due to the national team's first game at the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that Uzbekistan's game against Colombia will be held at 6:00 am Baku time on June 18 at the "Estadio Azteca" stadium in Mexico City.
"Of course, our respected president, like our 40 million people, is eagerly waiting for this match. The president will watch the game with his family and grandchildren tomorrow", - said the president's secretary Sherzod Asadov.
The Uzbek national team has qualified for the World Cup for the first time in its history.
