Egypt captain and forward Mohamed Salah had an emotional reaction to his team's advancement to the World Cup round of 16.
After the team's 1:1 (4:2 in penalties) win over Australia, the 34-year-old footballer couldn't hold back tears.
This will be the second time in Egyptian national team history that they will play in the round of 16. They previously played in this stage in 1934 and lost to Hungary.
In the round of 16, Egypt will face the winner of the Argentina-Cape Verde match.
Salah himself scored a penalty kick in the penalty shootout after the game.
