Sweden's head coach Graham Potter commented on the team's defeat to the Netherlands in the 2nd round match of Group F of the 2026 World Cup.
Sport.Biz reports that the game ended 5:1.
"We played with a very good team. The opponent created dangerous moments on the flanks. The first goal came from a long pass and we couldn't handle it well. We didn't start the first half well. This is one of the situations where we will learn a lot. Sometimes such experience is simply necessary. I didn't expect the match to go this way, but we need to draw conclusions from it," - Potter's words are quoted on the official FIFA website.
After two matches, Sweden is second in the group with 3 points. The Netherlands have 6 points.
