A meeting of the Supervisory Board of the "Sumgayit" Football Club was held.
Idman.biz reports that at the meeting held in the administrative building of "Azerikimya" PU, the new head coach of our main team, Saša Ilić, was presented to the members of the board.
A 1-year contract was signed with the 47-year-old Serbian specialist with a UEFA PRO category and his assistants.
At the meeting, the chairman of the Supervisory Board, Elnur Mammadli, spoke and wished the new head coach success and informed the members about the club's plans for the new season.
He stated that they always feel the support of the city of Sumgayit and its residents. They, as the club's management, will do their best to please the fans who are always with the team.
Later, President Riad Rafiyev spoke about the team's preparation plan for the next season and training camp.
The new head coach, Saša Ilić, thanked the club's management for trusting him and inviting him here. The specialist emphasized that "Sumgayit" Football Club will do its best to perform worthy of the name of the city of Sumgayit and will try to have a successful season.
Saša Ilić then got acquainted with the Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzade, where they play home games, and the "SOCAR Polymer" training base.
