Barcelona's response came in the 22nd minute when winger Lamin Yamal scored from a pass by Robert Lewandowski. In the 36th minute, Lewandowski converted a penalty into a goal. Three minutes later, Barcelona's Brazilian footballer Raphinha Dias increased the difference in the score. In the 10th minute of added time in the first half, Barcelona's defender Alex Balde brought the score to a crushing level. In the 48th minute, Raphinha scored a double.
It should be noted that Barcelona's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny was sent off in the 57th minute.
The current holder of the Spanish Super Cup is Real Madrid. In the final of the last competition, the "cream" defeated Barcelona with a score of 4:1.
