"I'm approaching the game with great confidence. I know everything will be fine. I'm ready and looking forward to it. It's going to be a special day. I think everyone has been waiting for this match since the start of the World Cup. We were really looking forward to it. We are the two best teams in the World Cup, but we are not afraid. I think if anyone can play against France with confidence, it's us," Yamal told Marca.
In the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup, Spain defeated Belgium 2-1, while France defeated Morocco 2-0.
