Today, the 1/8 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup kicks off. Sport24.az reports that two matches will take place on the first day of the game.
"Shahdag Qusar", competing in the I League, will test "Turan Tovuz". Since the stadium of the Shamakhi Olympic Sports Complex, where Qusar club holds its home games, is not suitable for hosting the 1/8 final stage matches of the cup, this meeting will take place at the "SOCAR Polymer Arena" in Sumgayit.
The second match of the day will take place in Zira. In the central match of this stage, the settlement's namesake representative hosts "Neftchi".
It should be noted that the 1/8 final stage consists of one game. The VAR system will be applied in this stage only in the meetings where the participants of the Misli Premier League play with each other.
