The Italian Footballers' Association has announced the laureates of the 2024/25 Serie A season. Sport24.az reports that Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay has been named the season's best player.
The Naples representative was also awarded the "Best Team of the Season" award. The team's head coach, Antonio Conte, was named the best head coach.
The association has also announced the symbolic team of the season. The first "11" is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Mile Sviler ("Roma")
Defenders: Denzel Dumfries ("Inter"), Amir Rrahmani ("Napoli"), Alessandro Bastoni ("Inter"), Federico Dimarco ("Inter")
Midfielders: Scott McTominay ("Napoli"), Nicolo Barella ("Inter"), Tijjani Reijnders ("Milan", later moved to "Manchester City")
Forwards: Lautaro Martinez ("Inter"), Moise Kean ("Fiorentina"), Mateo Retegui ("Atalanta", later moved to "Al-Qadisiya")
