Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali has agreed to move to Tottenham Hotspur.
According to information from Idman.Biz journalist Ben Jacobs, the clubs are still discussing the details of the contract.
According to the source, the parties have already agreed on the general terms of the 26-year-old Italian footballer's personal contract. Now, Tottenham needs to agree with Newcastle on the transfer fee. The Magpies have already rejected Tottenham's offer of around 80 million pounds and are insisting on 100 million pounds.
Tonali joined Newcastle from Milan in the summer of 2023. The club extended his contract until 2029 in 2025 and also has an option for an additional season.
Last season, the midfielder played 53 games in all competitions, scored three goals, and made six assists.
