Former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has been arrested on suspicion of money laundering and drug trafficking.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to the newspaper "Le Parisien".
According to the source, Nasri spent about 10 hours under the control of the Paris police. He was questioned as part of a court investigation into allegations of conspiracy and money laundering related to drug trafficking as part of an organized group. However, the former football player was released that evening without any charges being brought.
Nasri announced his retirement from football in 2021 at the age of 34. He currently works as a television expert.
