The new head coach of the "Sabah" football team has been determined.
"Report" reports that the press service of the Baku representative has released information about this.
A 3-year contract has been signed with Lithuanian specialist Valdas Dambrauskas.
During his coaching career, Dambrauskas worked for Lithuanian clubs "Ekranas" (2013-2014), "Jalgiris" (2014-2017), Latvian RFS (2017-2020), Croatian "Gorica" (2020-2021), "Hayduk" (2021-2022), Bulgarian "Ludogorets" (2021), Greek "OFI Crete" (2022-2023) and Hungarian "Dyoşdyor" (2025).
As a head coach, Valdas Dambrauskas has won the Bulgarian championship once (2020/21), the Lithuanian championship twice (2014/15, 2015/16), the Latvian Cup once (2018/19), the Lithuanian Cup three times (2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17), the Croatian Cup once (2021/22), the Lithuanian Super Cup twice (2015/16, 2016/17), and the Bulgarian Super Cup once (2021/22).
