Romario, who won the World Cup with the Brazilian national team, has harshly criticized coach Carlo Ancelotti after the team's elimination from the World Cup 2026. According to Sport24.az, the veteran footballer gave a statement to the "Itatiaia" portal:
"Ancelotti won't be able to implement his game style in Brazil like he did in Real, because he worked there for four or five years. He always had time to train his team, but in the Brazilian national team, he had little time. And in a short time, he didn't do anything valuable.
We had Dunqa, he lost and left. We had Felipao, who won the championship and stayed. We had Tite, who lost, stayed, and lost again. And now we have this cursed Ancelotti, who lost and will stay again. Damn it, it's not fair.
What would I say to him if I saw him? I would say damn yourself. "I would tell him to take a ******* (cursed) ticket and go to ********* (hell) in Italy".
Note that the five-time world champion Brazilian national team was eliminated from the World Cup 2026 after losing 1-2 to Norway in the 1/16 final.
