The reason for "Neftchi" parting ways with former Azerbaijani national football player Filip Ozobic has become known.
Idman.biz, referring to Sport24.az, reports that the "white-blacks" offered the 34-year-old midfielder a new contract with a lower salary.
However, the parties could not reach an agreement.
It should be noted that Ozobic, who has been playing for "Neftchi" since the summer of 2023, has appeared in 70 official matches and scored 16 goals during this period.
