The source stated that the incident occurred in October 2023 during a match against Barcelona. In that match, 3 Catalan fans were caught on camera chanting racist slogans. Since one of them is a minor, his case is being investigated by another body.
It is noted that on January 23, Vinicius will appear in court as a victim.
Earlier, Real Madrid fined a minor fan for racism.
The club stated that the child sent Vinicius a letter apologizing for what happened. As a result, it was decided to ban him from attending stadiums for one year and to fine him in a pre-trial manner. The amount of the fine has not been disclosed.
