Spanish football club Real Madrid has renewed its contract with defender Antonio Rüdiger.
Sport.Biz reports that the new contract of the 33-year-old footballer will be in effect until June 30, 2027. Thus, the parties have extended the expiring contract for another year.
Rüdiger joined Real Madrid as a free agent from Chelsea in the summer of 2022. The German defender has played 182 games for the Madrid team and won eight titles.
He won the Champions League, Spanish Championship, Spanish Cup, and Club World Cup with Real Madrid.
