Former Azerbaijani national team footballer Rahid Amirquliev is preparing to end his professional football career.
İdman.Biz reports citing sport24.az that the 36-year-old midfielder, who spent the last season with First League representative "Shahdag Qusar", has decided to end his career.
Rahid Amirquliev will continue his activity in the field of football management from next season.
It is expected that the experienced football player will be appointed to one of the leadership positions in the "Sabail" club, which plays in the First League. Negotiations are said to be underway between the parties.
