We want to qualify for the play-offs in the Europa League.
This was stated by Qarabag's Cape Verdean footballer Patrick Andrade in an interview with "Report".
The midfielder spoke about the team's winter training camp:
"We have already started preparations for the second half of the season for a few days. It is always difficult for football players to return from vacation. We increase our level of preparation a little more every day."
He touched upon the team's matches against FCSB and Olympiacos in the UEFA Europa League League stage:
"As every year, we want to show our game in Europe again. We continue in the same way as we prepared for the upcoming matches before. We believe that we will be able to please our fans in the next two matches. Our biggest wish is to qualify for the play-offs. We have hope. If we perform well, we can do it."
P.Andrade commented on the possible transfer of his teammate Olavio Juninho to the Spanish club "Sevilla" and the Brazilian club "Flamengo":
"Such things happen in football. If you have a chance to move to big clubs, you value it. I believe that the result will be good for him. Everything is under the control of our head coach Gurban Gurbanov. If Juninho leaves Qarabag, he knows very well how to build the team. I wish him success in his future career."
