PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi shared his thoughts on the favorites for the World Cup, emphasizing that several Parisian players will compete for the Ballon d'Or at the end of the season. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement to Mundo Deportivo:
"France has a very strong national team, so does Spain, Brazil will always remain Brazil, and also Argentina... But I think a European team will win the World Cup.
As for the Ballon d'Or award, everything will depend on the Champions League and the World Cup. In my opinion, we have four or five players who can win the award. I think that a player wearing the PSG jersey has a 60-70 percent chance of winning the Ballon d'Or."
It should be noted that the last winner of the Ballon d'Or was PSG winger Usman Dembele.
