The next match of the 1/16 finals of the football world championship has taken place. According to Sport24.az, the Portuguese national team met with Croatia.
The meeting in Toronto ended with a 2:1 victory for the Portuguese. The Croats opened the score in the match. Ivan Perišić brought his team ahead in the 53rd minute. But Ronaldo and his teammates did not lose heart. First, Cristiano equalized the score from a penalty in the 68th minute. And in the 90+4th minute, Goncalo Ramos appeared on the scene, scoring the winning goal for his team.
Note that the Portuguese national team will face Spain in the 1/8 finals.
