Real Sociedad have announced on their official website that they have extended the contract of head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo.
According to Sport.Biz, the American coach’s new deal with the club runs until the summer of 2028.
Pellegrino Matarazzo has been in charge of the “whites” since December 2025. His resume also includes stints at “Stuttgart” and “Hoffenheim”. The Italian-American player has played for several German clubs during his career, including “Nurnberg” and “Preussen Munster”.
Last season, Real Sociedad finished 10th in La Liga and also won the King's Cup.
