The Azerbaijan national team, consisting of football players under 21, played its first match today as part of the qualifying round of the European Championship.
Idman.biz reports that the team, coached by Aykhan Abbasov, faced the corresponding age group team of Portugal in the city of Barcelos.
The match, which will be held at the Barcelos city stadium, started at 22:30 Baku time. The match is being managed by a team of referees from Cyprus.
