One of the notable figures of Mingachevir football, Elbrus Ismayilov, has
passed away. According to Sport24.az, the football veteran died of a
heart attack at the age of 66.
It should be noted that Ismayilov once played for Mingachevir's "Kur-Nur" team and later held the position of
vice-president of "Energetik", which represents this city.
