NRK reports that the Norwegian national team has changed hotels before their match against England in the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup.
According to Sport.Biz, the match will be held on July 12.
The team is staying in Fort Lauderdale (near Miami), where the match will take place. The reason for the move was mold, poor cleaning in the rooms, noise from construction, and a highway near the previous hotel.
Truls Daeli, the head of the Norwegian delegation, noted that FIFA helped to solve the problems and continues to pay part of the expenses. The team has moved to a more expensive hotel; the costs will be covered by the Norwegian Football Association. The delegation is currently satisfied with everything.
The World Cup is being held in the US, Canada, and Mexico, and will end on July 19.
