Neymar, the top scorer in the history of the Brazilian national team, announced the end of his career with the national team.
Lent.az reports that the "Globo" portal has released information about this.
Neymar, who scored a penalty in the 1/8 final match of the World Cup against Norway (1:2), scored a goal for the national team for the first time since 2023.
"I worked as much as I could, but now everything is over," said the 34-year-old footballer.
Neymar returned to Brazil's "Santos" club in January 2025. He previously played for Saudi Arabia's "Al-Hilal" and France's PSJ club.
In 2017, PSJ paid a record amount in the history of world football, 222 million euros, to "Barcelona" for Neymar's transfer.
