A new training center will be established in Baku as the Football Development Center for national teams of lower age groups.
"Report" reports that this is reflected in the project announced by the national association.
This will be the main center for the development of youth football.
The goal is to create 8 regional centers in accordance with the AFFA's regional division, mainly using the existing infrastructure to provide fields, gyms and other important infrastructure facilities.
To solve the problem of the lack of an indoor arena and a modern rehabilitation center (e.g., cryotherapy), the existing infrastructure at "Dalga Arena" will be improved for the main national team and the U-21 squad.
The construction of a training center that can be used by 10 professional clubs in Baku that do not have training infrastructure and by other regional clubs visiting Baku will be ensured.
In addition, the construction of training infrastructure will be supported for 4 clubs in the Premier League that do not have training grounds.
