The new head coach of the Nigerian national team has been determined.
"Report" informs that the press service of the Nigerian Football Federation has released information about this.
Erik Schell has taken over the "helm" of the team. The federation has tasked the 47-year-old specialist with qualifying for the final stage of the 2026 World Cup.
It should be noted that the last job of the specialist, who coached the Mali national team in 2022-2024, was the Algerian club "Oran". During his football career, Erik Schell played for clubs such as "Valenciennes" and "Lens" in France. He replaced German Bruno Labbadia in this position.
