Negotiations for the possible transfer of Egyptian national team striker Mohamed Salah to Turkish Super League club Beşiktaş have become complicated.
Idman.Biz reports that according to information from Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, although the parties have agreed on financial terms, the player's representatives have made additional demands.
Therefore, the contract has not been signed yet. Salah's lawyer has gone to Dubai as part of a previously established program. If the medical examination and contract signing process begins, he will return to Istanbul.
Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı also confirmed that the transfer has not been completed:
"After the news of the transfer was spread in the public, the agents changed the numbers and wanted to raise the amount to an astronomical level. We did not accept this. Our negotiations are ongoing. We love Salah very much and have agreed with the player on all issues. However, everyone should know that our main priority is the interests of Beşiktaş. Our fans should not worry".
Note that the 33-year-old footballer has become a free agent after completing his work with Liverpool.
