"Neftchi" women's club, which will represent Azerbaijan in the UEFA Champions League, wants to sign members of the Turkish national team.
İdman.biz reports that Siyaset Asgarov, the head coach of the capital's representative, told "Report" about this.
He said that the names of the invited players will be announced in the coming days: "We have involved some players in the squad whose names I don't want to reveal yet. We are in the final stage of negotiations with some. An announcement will be made about new transfers in the coming days. We have invited players playing in Turkey. There are also members of the Turkish national team among the players we want to sign."
It should be noted that the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League will consist of semi-final and final matches. If "Neftchi" defeats the Turkish club "Fomget" in the semi-final, they will face the Israeli representative "Kiryat" in the final. The winner of this match will advance to the second qualifying round.
The matches will be held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
