I didn't feel like I had finished playing football. I was just left without a club because there were no offers from Premier League representatives. - What do you see as the reason why no club has been interested in you so far? - I hadn't played much in recent times. I guess that was the reason. I can't speak on behalf of the clubs. After leaving "Neftchi", I came to "Sabail". I got few chances in this team. Of course, an offer does not come to a football player who is not in the spotlight. - In general, what can be attributed to the reason for staying in the shadows for a long time? - I try not to think about it, because it happened and passed. Everything is in the past. There have been many reasons for staying in the shadows. There is no point in talking about it now. - What is your physical condition? - I haven't played for a long time. It would be a lie if I said it was in ideal condition. I'm trying my best. I have started training recently. There has been enough good progress during this time. Frankly, I expected it to be more difficult. I hope to recover soon. - You last played for the "Iravan" club in 2023. What changes have taken place in both the Misli Premier League and the I League since then? - The differences between the I League and the Misli Premier League are obvious, even if I don't say so. There are no major changes in the Premier League itself. - You were named the football player of the year while playing for "Neftchi". But it was after that that you experienced a decline. What was the main thing that affected you? - Not playing. Every football player must have practice. Isn't this period short enough to restore your form and help the team enough? - No. It's difficult, but I'm ready for it. I will try as hard as I can to get in my best shape as soon as possible. - Did you have any thoughts of playing abroad after leaving "Iravan"? - Even if you play in the Azerbaijani championship and are in the best shape, it is very difficult to get offers from foreign clubs. After moving to "Sabail", I only appeared in a few games. I didn't play for more than half of the season. It is difficult to play abroad in this situation. It would not be correct to say that there was an offer, but I did not go. There were only invitations from lower league representatives of Azerbaijan, and I did not want to go there either. - How do you evaluate the current season of the Misli Premier League? - As a football player, it doesn't make sense for me to evaluate the championship. Currently, my only thought is to help "Sabail" as much as I can and get them out of the difficult situation.
