Lent.az reports that Neuer played his 22nd World Cup match, starting in the third round of the group stage against Ecuador.
Thus, he rose to 6th place in the history of the tournament in this indicator. Neuer is only surpassed by Lionel Messi (28), Lothar Matthaus (25), Miroslav Klose (24), Cristiano Ronaldo (24) and Paolo Maldini (23).
