Rasmus Hojlund, striker for Italian football club Napoli, has been permanently transferred from Manchester United.
Idman.Biz reports that the Neapolitan representative officially announced that the conditions for the full acquisition of the Danish footballer's sports rights have been met.
The 23-year-old forward scored 16 goals in 44 matches for the team.
The total value of the transfer is 50 million euros (100 million AZN). This amount includes the six million euro (12 million AZN) loan fee paid last summer and the 44 million euros (88 million AZN) allocated for the mandatory purchase.
Hojlund spent the 2025/2026 season on loan at Napoli. The purchase clause in the contract was activated after the Italian club qualified for the Champions League.
Manchester United plans to direct a portion of the funds obtained from the Hojlund transfer towards the acquisition of Atalanta's Brazilian midfielder Ederson.
