"Racing Santander" and "Deportivo La Coruna" had previously qualified for promotion to the Spanish top division.
"Oviedo", "Girona" and "Mallorca" left the Spanish top division at the end of the 2025/26 season. The teams will continue to compete in the Segunda Division next season.
