Lens coach William Still spoke about defender Abdukodir Khusanov, whose name has been linked with Manchester City. Sport24.az reports that the specialist said in a statement to Lequipe that the player is close to joining the "Citizens":
"I don't want to lie. Negotiations are underway and Khusanov is close to joining Manchester City. But for now, he belongs to us. If appropriate, he may appear in the match against Le Havre on January 12."
It was previously reported that Manchester City were close to completing the player's transfer for 50 million euros.
