Games with "Sabah" in the semi-finals of the Azerbaijan Cup and in the Misli Premier League will be decisive for the "Qarabağ" team.
This was stated by Kamilo Duran, a football player of the Aghdam representative, in an interview with "Report".
The 24-year-old striker said that they aim for a gold medal in both tournaments:
"I think it can be said that the meetings with "Sabah" will be decisive. We must prepare well for the upcoming matches in order to win those 3 games. I hope that it will be so with God's help."
The forward touched upon the match of the XXIV round, in which they defeated "Zira" away yesterday:
"We expected it to be a difficult game. In general, meetings with "Zira" are always difficult. They always make our job difficult. However, we did a good job on the field as a team and won our 3 points. Now we have to focus on the upcoming matches."
The player talked about the match against "Kapaz" in the next round:
"Yes, we lost to them in the previous round. We cannot repeat the same mistakes this time. We will definitely go on a trip for 3 points. We must win before the break."
K. Duran also spoke about a possible invitation to the Colombian national team:
"That's right, there is such talk. But I haven't received a call from Colombia yet. Therefore, we have to wait a bit. It will be possible to talk about this after the national team is fully officially announced."
