Julio Romao: "Juninho is ready to play for Flamengo"

Juninho is ready to play for Flamengo.

"Report" informs that Julio Romao, the Brazilian football player of "Qarabag", said this in an interview with "Globo" about the possible transfer of Olavio Juninho, another member of the "steeds", to the "Flamengo" club.

The 26-year-old midfielder spoke highly of his compatriot:

"Juninho is a different center forward than many we have in Brazilian football today. Usually one scores and the other is mobile. But we rarely come across very fast forwards. Juninho is like that. The reason he scores so many goals here is his speed. The way he gets past his opponents is incredible. It's hard for a center forward to do that."

J.Romao said that it is not surprising that big clubs such as "Flamengo" and Spain's "Sevilla" are interested in the striker:

"I am sure that he will show why they are after him. Juninho is a great player. I think he will score a lot of goals. There are not enough players like him in Brazil. He is already experienced. He has played in Brazil and Portugal before. The probability of him performing well in "Flamengo" is very high."

It should be noted that Olavio Juninho has been wearing the uniform of "Qarabag" since 2023. He is the winner of the Azerbaijan championship and cup.
