The name of Barcelona's new president is known. Sport24.az reports that insider Fabrizio Romano shared this on his "X" social media account:
"Joan Laporta has won the presidential elections! Laporta has started his duties and will continue his work in a new phase after today's vote."
It should be noted that Laporta has been elected to this position for the third time. The functionary led the Catalan club from 2003 to 2010 and from 2021 to 2026. He will begin his duties on July 1 and will lead Barcelona until 2031. Joan's opponent in the elections was Victor Font.
