"The atmosphere in the team is good. We are seriously preparing for the game against "Araz-Nakhchivan". We will get better as time goes on." These words were said by "Zira" football player Jeyhun Nuriyev in his statement to Sport24.az.
He also assessed his team's performance in the first round:
"We should have been in a higher place and we were trying to do that. The first half of the season was up and down. We need to catch stability after the winter break."
Nuriyev emphasized that Zira's goal in the second round is to qualify for European cups:
"We know the mistakes we made before winter and we shouldn't repeat them. Our goal is to qualify for European cups."
It should be noted that "Zira" went to the winter break in 4th place with 30 points.
