Ivory Coast national team coach Emers Fae spoke about the second round match of Group E with Germany at the 2026 World Cup.
Sport.Business reports that the match will start tonight at midnight.
"Winning our first group stage match was very beneficial for us; it gave us comfort. We came here to defeat Germany and advance to the round of 32. Our goal is to return from the training camp with six points and the confidence of winning first place in the group stage. Everyone in our team has been working together for two and a half years, and we intend to continue working as we have in the past. The fact that our opponent is Germany does not change anything," Fae said.
Ivory Coast defeated Ecuador (1-0) in the first round, while Germany defeated Curaçao (7-1).
