There are many technical and tactical shortcomings.
This was stated by Ilgar Aslanov, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national futsal team under 19, in his statement to
"Report".
The specialist assessed the condition of the national team members who started preparations today for the preliminary stage of the European Championship:
"We have started the training camp from today. We will be preparing with the full squad for the first time. Thank God, there are no injuries. The trainings are going well. There are many technical and tactical shortcomings. Some children have recently joined the team and are inexperienced. We will try to improve their level. We will work on the missing aspects. In the first week, we will focus on physical, and then tactical exercises. Because we have very little time."
He said that although he liked some futsal players, he could not invite them to the team:
"I also liked some children from big football, I wanted to involve them in the team. But it was not possible. Because they also have their own competitions."
I.Aslanov shared his thoughts on the opponents in Group B, where the national team is located:
"The training camp will last until January 23. Then we will go to San Marino for the qualifying round of the European Championship. I watched the game of San Marino from our opponents in the group. But Kosovo is a stronger team. We will try to perform well. Of course, we have set a goal to pass the stage."
It should be noted that U-19 will face Kosovo on January 25, and the next day the national team of the corresponding age group of San Marino. The matches of this group will be held in San Marino. The first place winner will qualify for the main stage. The matches of the main stage will be held from March 21 to 26.
