Erling Haaland has been named Norway's best footballer of 2024. Sport24.az reports that the Manchester City striker has been awarded this prize for the 5th consecutive time.
"This is a great and pleasant award for me, I appreciate it very much. I am proud to be named the best for the 5th time in a row. It was a good year for me, I played consistently and scored goals. We won the English Premier League award, which was a fantastic result," said Haaland regarding the award.
It should be noted that the 25-year-old scored 38 goals and made 5 assists in 45 games for Manchester City last year. In 2024, Haaland set a record in the Norwegian national team. He scored for the 38th time in 39 games for the national team.
