"We started preparing for the second half of the season on January 7. We train in Sumgayit, at the Kapital Bank Arena." These words were said by Gazanfar Abbasov, the head coach of MOIK, a representative of the First League, in his statement to Sport24.az.
He also provided information about his team's new transfers and the test matches they will hold during the preparation period:
"We have new transfers. So far, we have taken 3 players. We have reached an agreement with Sabir Allahguliyev, Ilham Allahverdiyev and Tural Akhverdiyev. We are considering signing contracts with 2-3 more players. We will have test matches. On January 12, we will face the reserve team of "Sabah". Negotiations are underway with subsequent opponents regarding the time and place."
It should be noted that MOIK finished the first round in the First League in 6th place with 14 points.
