Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji could move to Galatasaray. Sport24.az reports that journalist Fabrizio Romano announced this on his social media account.
According to the source, the Turkish club has already made initial contact with both the "Citizens" and the player's agent. However, Akanji has not yet made a decision on the transfer.
The 30-year-old footballer previously played for Winterthur, Basel and Borussia Dortmund, and has been playing for the Swiss national team (71 matches, 3 goals) since 2017.
According to Transfermarkt, Akanji's current transfer value is 28 million euros. His contract with Manchester City is valid until the summer of 2027.
It should be noted that Galatasaray also wants to add goalkeeper Ederson from Manchester City to its squad.
