Former "Qarabag" goalkeeper Andrey Lunyov stated that the most memorable event for him in 2024 was the matches they played against Germany's "Bayer 04" in the UEFA Europa League.
"Report" informs that the 33-year-old Russian goalkeeper said this in a statement to TASS.
"The past year was quite productive, normal. The most memorable events in 2024 were probably the Europa League games, specifically the matches against "Bayer 04"," he said.
It should be noted that in March 2024, in the 1/8 finals of the UEFA Europa League, the Aghdam club lost to "Bayer 04" with the result of two matches (2:2, 2:3). A. Lunyov, who played 16 matches for "Qarabag" in the 2023/2024 season, kept his goal intact in 5 of them. He was transferred to Moscow's "Dynamo" in the summer of 2024.
