Former Newcastle goalkeeper Loris Karius has agreed to join German II Bundesliga side Schalke 04.
Report reports that Sky Sports has reported this.
The contract with the 31-year-old goalkeeper is expected to last until the end of the season. He is said to be undergoing a medical examination today.
L. Karius was without a club after leaving Newcastle in the summer.
It should be noted that Schalke 04 is currently in 13th place among 18 teams in the II Bundesliga standings with 20 points.
