Former Fenerbahce footballer Bekir Irtegun said in an interview with Sport24.az that France is his favorite team in the World Championship: "My favorite team in the World Championship is the French national team". The former Fenerbahce player believes that France has a better chance compared to other teams:
"I have a lot of respect for Ronaldo. He never gives up, even when he has everything. He is a role model for everyone, both on and off the field. I played against him in younger national teams, he is a great player and wants to become a world champion. But based on the games I've watched so far, I think France is one step ahead of everyone".
Note that the World Championship will end on July 19.
