Former Azerbaijan national team striker Amil Yunanov started training with "Shafa", representing the Second League, today.
The 31-year-old player himself informed "Report" about this.
He said that they want to qualify for the First League with his new team:
"It's too early to quit football. As long as I have strength in my body, I want to play. God willing, we will achieve new successes with "Shafa" and become champions. Our goal is to qualify for the First League".
A. Yunanov said that he parted ways with the Albanian club "Bilis" and had previously appealed to FIFA regarding the matter:
"I don't want to go back to this issue. My lawyer is dealing with all the matters. There are a couple of minor issues left. God willing, everything will be clarified soon".
It should be noted that Amil Yunanov signed a one-year contract with the "Bilis" club last September.
