In Pavia, Italy, 25-year-old footballer Gabriele Vaccaro died as a result of an attack by several people.

It is reported that Vaccaro was attacked by five teenagers while walking to his car with two friends. One of them, a 17-year-old, stabbed the footballer in the neck and abdomen with a screwdriver. The injured man's friends initially did not fully understand the severity of the injuries and took him home. Later, an ambulance was called.
Gabriele Vaccaro was taken to the hospital, but despite the efforts of doctors, he died from his injuries. One of his friends was also wounded in the abdomen and is said to be in stable condition.
According to the investigation, the conflict started after the attacking youths demanded that the footballer give them the pizza boxes he was holding. Vaccaro's refusal caused their aggressive behavior. Currently, three suspects have been detained and the investigation is ongoing.
