Flamengo's sporting director Jose Boto spoke about the transfer of Qarabag striker Juninho. Sport24.az reports that the club official, who gave a statement to the Brazilian press, said that they had reached an agreement with the Aghdam club:
"There is an agreement between the parties. However, he will only become a Flamengo player after signing a contract. Any player only becomes a member of our club after passing a medical examination and signing an agreement. This hasn't happened yet."
Meanwhile, according to the Brazilian press, Juninho will leave for Rio de Janeiro today to sign a contract. He will not go to the USA, where Flamengo is holding their pre-season training camp. The forward will wait for his new team in his homeland.
