Fabio Cannavaro, the head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, has made history in the World Cup. According to Sport24.az, under his leadership, the team faced Colombia in the tournament and lost 1:3.
Cannavaro, as the owner of the "Golden Ball", became the fourth specialist to participate in the World Cup as both a football player and a head coach.
Previously, only Franz Beckenbauer, Oleg Blokhin, and Marco van Basten have achieved this.
Cannavaro won the "Golden Ball" in 2006.
