Azerbaijan's minifootball national team has qualified for the final of the European Championship held in Bratislava, Slovakia.
According to İdman.Biz, the Azerbaijani team faced Serbia in the semi-final match.
The main time of the game ended in a 1:1 draw. Khatai Bagirov opened the scoring in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Marko Vujovic from Serbia equalized the score.
The winner was determined in a penalty shootout, and the Azerbaijani team won 3:1. The goals were scored by Elvin Alizade, Tamkin Khalilzade, and Ramiz Chovdarov.
Our national team's opponent in the final will be Ukraine.
It should be reminded that our national team became European champions in 2022 and world champions in 2025.

The match at "Tipos Arena" in Bratislava will start at 22:45 Baku time.
In the other semi-final pairing, the national teams of Hungary and Ukraine will compete for a place in the final. The starting whistle for this match will be given at 21:15.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani team finished the group stage with maximum results. Our team achieved victories against Austria (1:0), Italy (3:0), and France (3:2) in Group F.
Continuing its successful performance in the play-off stage, our national team first defeated Kazakhstan 3:2 and then the Czech Republic 5:2 to advance to the semi-finals.
